Dane Anderson is an education professional with deep experience supporting k-12 districts and schools across the U.S.After receiving a Bachelors in Special Education from Auburn University and a M.Ed. In Visual Impairment from Georgia State University, she became a teacher and then a district leader in Georgia. Dane wrote the ESOL handbook that the GADOE utilized and also worked on the ESOL Praxis at the state dept.
After moving to Florida in 2005, to escape Atlanta winters and traffic, she shifted roles that allowed her to guide districts in implementing instructional solutions and improving student outcomes. Dane has consistently produced top-tier growth winning both the Worldwide Achievement Award for Oxford University Press and Edmentum’s Century Club Distinction. At AVID Center she was a top performer for school and district partnerships.
Dane’s work is rooted in the commitment to teachers, students, and parents as well as her mission to expand access, remove barriers, and help schools make decisions that support the success of all students. Dane loves animals and music, and is especially proud of her son pursuing a master’s degree in jazz performance and her daughter working toward her bachelors in engineering,
